Unfortunately, if your order has been shipped then there is nothing we
can do about it for obvious reasons.
We reserve the right to cancel an
order if the shipping address and billing address do not match if we
suspect fraudulent activity. However, cancelling an order for this reason would be incredibly rare. Here are
the following things we would consider:
whether the order size is unusual
whether the shipping destination is in a geographically far location
in comparison to the shipping address i.e. different country
whether a high quantity of particularly expensive items have been purchased and could potentially be resold
whether many purchases have been made with the same card but are being sent to different shipping addresses each time
If you pay directly using a credit card
or debit card then we implement CVC (card verification code). This would be the last three numbers on the back of your card. If this information is not available to you then you may not go ahead with
the purchase. This is to protect all of our customers and to prevent
fraudulent purchases. We take our customers security very seriously.
We also have an Address Verification System in place which ensures that the address details that are provided for the billing address is registered to the card that is being used.
Yes or course. We use as many naturally derived ingredients as possible in our formulations. As
all products are lovingly hand made, they may have some very minor variations in
consistency, texture and color from batch to batch. However, this does
not affect the quality of product in any way whatsoever.
We recommended that you keep the conditions that you store your products
in consistent so as not to affect the products. Do not expose your
products to extremes of heat or cold as this may affect the texture and
consistency of your product. However, minor changes in product consistency are to
be expected when the whether is warmer or colder than usual i.e. body
butter hardening slightly in a cold room but this will not effect
the quality of the product.
Some of our products do contain organic ingredients such as our Whipped Body Butter where the main ingredient is organic & unrefined shea butter or our Nail & Cuticle Balm which contains organic cocoa butter and organic beeswax.
If an organic ingredient is used then this will be stated on the product packaging with the words 'organic'. We would never make unrealistic claims about a product being organic when only one or two of the ingredients are from an organic source as not all of the ingredients of our products are from an organic source.
Here at Dames & Dimes we believe in complete transparency. We hope to demonstrate this by stating what procedures we have in place when creating our product so that they are free from contamination and safe to use on your skin
All our products are lovingly handmade in a small home based workshop. We always ensure that we adhere to good manufacturing practice such as:
sterilizing all work surfaces and equipment to be used
wearing disposable gloves and aprons each time a new batch is created
all raw ingredients are stored in sealed containers in a cool dry place for no longer than their shelf life
all batch codes are handwritten by us with a waterproof permanent marker on each individual label to specify the date that they were created
products are created in a pet free and smoke free environment
the contents of each jar is weighed using a trade approved scale
You can rest assured that all our products have had a cosmetic product safety report completed in line with EU regulations
so that they are completely safe to use on your skin. It is important
to ensure that any product you buy is safe to use on your skin and has
been assessed by a certified chemist.
As required by regulations, we have also included a list of any allergens that are present in the product on the label (often occurring in essential oils). These allergens are listed in italics when you view the ingredients online. This is to help you make an informed decision when making a purchase.
Orders are dispatched within 48 hours with Royal Mail. Any parcels that weigh over 2kg are sent via a courier. We
do not dispatch items over the weekend (as we're busy making your
products!). All parcels are dispatched during weekdays including international deliveries.

You have the right to cancel an order 7 days from the date that the order is dispatched. These include weekends and public holidays.
If you have already had the products delivered to you then you have 14 days to return to items to us. If you have simply changed your mind, the the cost of returning the items is solely down to you.
However, we will be responsible for postage costs if the following applies:
If the item was broken or damaged on receiving it

In the incredibly unlikely event that a package were to go missing, this would be investigated thoroughly before a refund can be issued and a response given within 24 hours if feasible.
